Extra practise 10-5
To the 32 ppl who applied to go to 歐洲日(7/5) performance:
Deadline for handing in 「歐洲日」演出通告
Memorise Europa-Hymne and 中華人民共和國國歌
The others: we're sorry to tell you that if you weren't there when Ms Fok counted the number of people joining, you are not able to participate in this performance due to the constrained number of people. You need not hand in the reply slip.
Non-tour members please also get into a group!
This is the mark-counting system for tour (based on groups)
Regular Friday rehearsals
EVERYONE (including non-tour members)
Late/absent (with absent slip) -1 mark
Absent (without absent slip) -2 marks
*double count for group leaders and assistant group leaders
Extra practises
Basically the same as regular Friday rehearsals, but an extra mark will be added for groups which a non-tour member comes back for rehearsal.
*please be reminded there will be punishment for the losing group each lesson, as well as an overall punishment for the losing group from now till tour.
**this system is implemented to TRAIN OUR RESPONSIBILITY, so marks are not that important but our change in attitude
We understand that most of us really need some time to accept the audition result and the group list, but we cannot change the results anyways, so please try your best to get over your shock/anxiety/confusion/whatever negative emotions ASAP. Change all these emotions to motivation and make improvements!:)
The 86 of us are Concertarians 2015 and we won't be separated into two halves just by this:')

Please be reminded that the deadline for handing tour reply slip has already past. To the 22 of us who haven't hand in your reply slip (including those who are not planning to go to tour), please phone back HKCC before 23/4 (Thur) 6pm and tell the staff if you're going to tour or not and hand in the hard copy of the reply slip by Friday. If you do not phone back and you plan to go to tour, there is a high possibility you will fail the audition.

Practice the dance steps of When I Sing at home.
We believe most of us had already tried our best, all we can do is to wait for the result. No matter how we've performed today, make improvements based on this experience! RELAX:D

8pm: deadline for handing in first audition group name list to Ann (state you Chinese name and your part- indicate your semi part also)
Requirements: around 10 people with all three parts
*****Those not going to tour please do NOT get into a group.

Practice time is 4:30-7:30
Please really really really spend some time practising all songs and dance steps. This is for your own benefit as first audition is coming very soon and for the whole class' benefit in order to achieve a high efficiency during class rehearsal time.

I know this is very long but there are a lot of important details so please be patient and read every single word and don't miss any information please cooperate><

Extra practice 10am-5pm - our first 10-5 this year!:D Make sure you have breakfast beforehand! Memorise 中國之歌 (bar 89 till the end)
Wear comfortable clothes as we will be having dance practice for both When I Sing and Songs from China. Revise the dance steps of When I Sing on your own! If you need any help please contact Ann by 5/4(Sun) 12noon we'll arrange time to practice together!:)
We will be taking official photos so pls bring these things:
1. 2015 winter red class tee + long dark blue jeans + sneakers (not restricted to white but as plain as possible)
2. Summer red white blue
-girls: long white socks, black leather shoes, red ribbons (we suggest you to tie two ponytails so please bring extra hair clips, rubber bands and ribbons)
-boys: black leather shoes, black belt (please wear white underwear)
Please start forming groups for tour first audition (only people going to tour need to be in a group).

Kindly try your very very best to attend all practices as we don't want anyone to fall behind, and since music festival has come to an end we expect a better attendance from now onwards. If you were absent it's your responsibility to take the initiative to ask and catch up with the things we've learnt.
*****girls: there is a difference between 夾起 and 夾住 your fringe. (Not just for performances/taking photos but for every lesson) if possible everyone please 夾起 your fringe so we can all see your beautiful faces:)
