Thanks for all the memories that you've given me.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to serve you all this year. Now, as a graduate from concert choir, from HKCC, I hope all of you can fulfill your responsibility as a concertarian, take care of the new people next year as a senior. Treasure the time singing with your friends and every single performance.
I'm sure that next year will be a good year as all of you is ready to be a professional choir member!

I'd like to express my great big thank you to all of you. Without your support, i would not have been granted this opportunity to serve this class. I learnt a lot and the experiences have definitely shaped me into the more matured and confident person I am today.

1. Please be reminded to bring the following things
- 夏季紅白藍 (*make sure you bring the correct costume correct shoe correct socks!)

- Girls: extra hair clips & rubber bands & red ribbon
- Grey&red HKCC polo
- A pair of long jeans
- extra t-shirts with HKCC logo (most probably we won't be wearing RWB whole day for 13/11 and 14/11)

Two weeks till gala concert and we're still making the same mistakes every time we practice. Please really spend some time at home to read the scores in details. Make sure you are 200% familiar with the tempo of the start of 韻樂共流. You may start forming groups for Macau tour audition. Deadline for handing in group list is 24/9 (Thur). State you Chinese name and your part (indicate your semi part also) in the group list.
Requirements: around 9 people with all three parts
*****Please note that the group list you hand in might not be the finalised one. We will try to make the least changes if possible>< Changes might be made when considering the overall balance and number of people of all groups.

Also we will be performing on 27/9 (Sun), which means the last rehearsal is 25/9 (Fri). You now have more than one month to arrange your schedule. The RULE is if you're not coming for last rehearsal you CANNOT perform.

Please try your best to have 東方交響曲 memorised asap (there isn't an official date for memorising this but if you don't memorise it we can never finish teaching the dance steps)
Kindly really spend some time on the songs and dance steps. It is very easy to distinguish those who did and didn't practice them.  For both tour and non-tour members, please do you best to catch up everything we don't want anyone falling behind.

Let's be very realistic.
In one month we'll be having second audition, then half more month to go we'll have one of the most important annual performance - pretour concert, and then few more days to go we'll be off to tour.
We have 3-4 dance incomplete, one probably challenging piece coming, and tons of unready pieces.
Are you confident we can finish practicing all these in a month time?
We highly doubt that. UNLESS all of us can spend more time in practicing the songs- mark down all the comments Ms Fok made during lesson and spend time rehearsing the pieces on your own- DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES AGAIN AND AGAIN. 
Remember what the choreographer teaches us and practice the dance steps yourselves. Don't wait till the next time we practice and then you find out that you forgot all the dance steps already. 
We understand it will be a hard time coping with your final exams together with all these songs and dance but we really need your commitment. 
We won't check on everyone's progress one by one and figure out who needs what help. It's your responsibility take the initiative and seek help. 
Class committee is always ready to help so please come find us don't make us worry anymore>< we will not be mad for you not knowing clearly what to do but we will get mad when we discover that you don't know what to do but you didn't seek help. We are open to suggestions so if you need more sectionals- tell us; if you need more dance practice- tell us. We will try our best to do what we can do so please talk to us!>< let us know your problems and we'll solve them together!

This is the mark-counting system for tour (based on groups)
Regular Friday rehearsals
EVERYONE (including non-tour members)
Late/absent (with absent slip) -1 mark
Absent (without absent slip) -2 marks
*double count for group leaders and assistant group leaders
Extra practises
Basically the same as regular Friday rehearsals, but an extra mark will be added for groups which a non-tour member comes back for rehearsal.
*please be reminded there will be punishment for the losing group each lesson, as well as an overall punishment for the losing group from now till tour.
**this system is implemented to TRAIN OUR RESPONSIBILITY, so marks are not that important but our change in attitude

We understand that most of us really need some time to accept the audition result and the group list, but we cannot change the results anyways, so please try your best to get over your shock/anxiety/confusion/whatever negative emotions ASAP. Change all these emotions to motivation and make improvements!:)

Wear comfortable clothes as we will be having dance practice for both When I Sing and Songs from China. Revise the dance steps of When I Sing on your own! If you need any help please contact Ann by 5/4(Sun) 12noon we'll arrange time to practice together!:)

We will be taking official photos so pls bring these things:
1. 2015 winter red class tee + long dark blue jeans + sneakers (not restricted to white but as plain as possible)
2. Summer red white blue

*****EVERYONE: please be reminded that it's one of our responsibilities as a Concertarian to hand in your absent/late slip if you're not coming/coming late. Please don't vanish without notifying anyone. Kindly try your very very best to attend all practices as we don't want anyone to fall behind, and since music festival has come to an end we expect a better attendance from now onwards. If you were absent it's your responsibility to take the initiative to ask and catch up with the things we've learnt.
*****girls: there is a difference between 夾起 and 夾住 your fringe. (Not just for performances/taking photos but for every lesson) if possible everyone please 夾起 your fringe so we can all see your beautiful faces:)
